Die Wissenschaft dahinter

Glutamine is a non-essential amino acid and our bodies can usually synthesise sufficient amounts of it. However, when under stress, the body's demand for glutamine increases, and the necessary amount has to be obtained via diet or supplements. The main function of glutamine for athletes is providing energy so the body doesn’t tap into our muscles for it, thus also ensuring muscle mass is maintained and can grow.
